We’re at it again! Join us as we celebrate the transition between seasons with another massive line up to help you kick off summer right. This time we’ll be down in New Haven, CT with not just one, but two events! By making our way south we’re able to offer an additional afterhours event, which we’ve named Sunkissed: Afterburn, so now you can dance until the sun comes up! Wondering how it’s going to work? Take a peek below for a basic run down.

☼ Sunkissed will run much like our previous events, Winter WonderSLAM and Bloom, where from 6:00pm to 1:45am, you’ll have a hard time just picking which sets you want to hear. The only difference is that instead of just 4 rooms, we’ve added a fifth! We are lucky to have the opportunity to host this event in a newly renovated space with a reconfigured second floor.
☼ When the event ends at 1:45am, everyone will exit the property (just like at any other venue)…but just until 2:00am when doors open back up for those who have purchased tickets to Sunkissed: Afterburn.
☼ Please keep in mind that there are a very limited number of tickets available for Sunkissed: Afterburn. Price and other information can be found under TICKETS.

Grammy Award nominated DJ/Producer Todd Terry has been engulfed in dance music since he first started listening to European dance music records while growing up in Brooklyn. Already devoted to turntables, he heard something different in those tracks, and he “went for the difference. I never got a break in New York, but England happened right away, so I catered to them.” In any event, the Todd Terry sound was born.
By 1988, Todd Terry hit big in England and Europe, and his notoriety was making its way back to the U.S. In addition to DJ appearances, Todd was cutting his classic underground tracks … Todd’s mixes bridge the ground between club cool and commercial accessibility. In 1995, his remix for Everything But The Girl’s Missing became a worldwide smash, … He then rode the charts with mixes for Garbage (Stupid Girl), The Cardigans (Love Fool), Everything But The Girl (Wrong), 10,000 Maniacs (More Than This), Jamiroquai (Alright), The Cardigans (Been It), and The Lightning Seeds (You Showed Me),.among others. He also produced a Robin S track (Givin’ You All That I’ve Got) for the multi-platinum Space Jam soundtrack.
‘Strictly Todd Terry’ compilation mixed by Todd Terry was released in 2007 on Strictly Rhythm. Todd’s mix follows installments by Masters at Work and Tiefschwarz in this newly launched series.

Tony Saputo + Maurice Tamraz are J PAUL GETTO.
Each with years of previous production experience, J Paul Getto was formed in September 2010 with the help of Neil Petricone (X-Mix Productions) and they've been breaking ladies’ hearts ever since. With a truly unique style in today's disco house scene, the duo expertly sample classic disco elements by integrating them into their work and creating a full and overwhelming atmosphere that is to be felt as much as it is to be heard.
Excitement, euphoria and an uncontrollable urge to dance; these are all normal feelings you will encounter the second you hear a J Paul Getto track.
With a sound as big as this, the international scene is left begging for each new release from this duo. Tony Saputo is from Palermo (Italy), Maurice is from Central California and they're now based in Boston.

☼ Odi (Digital Konfusion, Konkrete Jungle)
Bronx-born Carlos “Odi” Castillo is not only one of the most highly-respected DJs in the stateside jungle scene, but in great part responsible for its stylistic evolution in NYC. He got his big break after high school, when promoting for the famous mid-90’s NASA rave parties grew into a steady DJing slot. Back then, the 90’s electronica wave was called “breaks” or “techno,” until Odi and some childhood friends who shared a lifestyle, culture and musicalinterest began pumping out electronic records with their own signature twist. Having grown up on 125th street in Harlem, Odi began to introduce the hip hop elements that helped create and push the jungle sound. It has been the defining style of NYC and the east coast in general since 1997, when the Digital Konfusion crew formed their own eponymous record label and began spinning at NYC’s most dedicated weekly jungle party: Konkrete Jungle. Eventually Odi caught the ears of TC IZLAM, the international spokesman for the respected Hip Hop society Zulu Nation. He was initiated in 2003, making him the first junglist to enter the organization. Odi and his record label have remained prolific ever since, DJing across the nation and producing for multiple other artists. Odi’s home base is now in North Carolina where he owns and runs a recording studio.

Dali has been a prominent figure in club land for almost two decades, branding his signature sound of funk and heavy bass lines at clubs all across America! There is no way to confuse Dali with anyone else when he steps to the decks. In 2013 he was recently made a revolving resident for Girls & Boys one of the best parties in the country which takes place every Friday at Legendary Webster Hall NYC. Mike Swells is a Boston based DJ, producer, and promoter. His musical stylings are diverse, covering a wide range of genres, BPM's, and emotions, catered fresh to each zone. When it's all boiled down, you're immersed in groove-laiden underground house and techno.
Mike has DJ'd at clubs across the U.S. and Canada, from his home at RISE Boston, to Avalon L.A., B.E.D. Miami, Pacha NYC, and Sullivan Room NYC. He's been invited to perform at festivals like Camp Bisco, Identity Fest, and Winter Music Conference. He has shared the decks with tastemakers like Josh Wink, Dubfire, Sebastien Leger, Marco Bailey, Robert Babicz, Umek, Armand Van Helden, Infected Mushroom, Markus Schultz, Eric Prydz, Junior Sanchez, and countless others.
Mike's residency at RISE After-hours began in 2004. He's since expanded his role at this unique venue, focusing his efforts full time on nurturing his home town's electronic music scene. Mike is a driving force behind other dance music outlets beyond RISE. He's been a monthly resident at The Red Door in Portsmouth, NH, since 2008. He is a founding member & resident DJ at Rabbit Revolution, a promotions group focused on exposing America's new generation of EDM fans to quality underground music [and] He is also a founding member and resident DJ for SoundScape.

With his fondness for eye liner, nail varnish and retro kitsch, John B has become one of the most eclectic and unique individuals in electronic music. His playful stretching of the genre's elastic over the past ten years has meant he's been able to work with figureheads from all corners of the scene. From Metalheadz boss Goldie, to legendary global DJ Paul Oakenfold.
Defying categorisation, John's catalogue straddles electro, punk rock, trance, Latin and drum and bass…Truly international, John has brought dance music to some of the farthest flung places on the globe…John's been a pioneer of sub genres through his production and DJing as well as via the diverse releases from talent on his own labels, Beta and Nu Electro. ..
John's last album, Electrostep, saw him credited with single-handedly developing a new style in drum and bass. Scything through that year's releases, it was hailed as a 'tongue in cheek electro overdose for models and porn stars' and garnered him a diverse and unrivalled global fan base…
In 2009, John was voted best drum and bass DJ in DJ Magazine's top 100 poll. Last year D&B titan Andy C just pipped him to the post. But despite having to settle for runner up, John leaped an impressive 16 places to finish at number 76 overall.

Tony Saputo + Maurice Tamraz are J PAUL GETTO.
Each with years of previous production experience, J Paul Getto was formed in September 2010 with the help of Neil Petricone (X-Mix Productions) and they've been breaking ladies’ hearts ever since. With a truly unique style in today's disco house scene, the duo expertly sample classic disco elements by integrating them into their work and creating a full and overwhelming atmosphere that is to be felt as much as it is to be heard.
Excitement, euphoria and an uncontrollable urge to dance; these are all normal feelings you will encounter the second you hear a J Paul Getto track.
With a sound as big as this, the international scene is left begging for each new release from this duo. Tony Saputo is from Palermo (Italy), Maurice is from Central California and they're now based in Boston.

☼ Odi (Digital Konfusion, Konkrete Jungle)
Bronx-born Carlos “Odi” Castillo is not only one of the most highly-respected DJs in the stateside jungle scene, but in great part responsible for its stylistic evolution in NYC. He got his big break after high school, when promoting for the famous mid-90’s NASA rave parties grew into a steady DJing slot. Back then, the 90’s electronica wave was called “breaks” or “techno,” until Odi and some childhood friends who shared a lifestyle, culture and musicalinterest began pumping out electronic records with their own signature twist. Having grown up on 125th street in Harlem, Odi began to introduce the hip hop elements that helped create and push the jungle sound. It has been the defining style of NYC and the east coast in general since 1997, when the Digital Konfusion crew formed their own eponymous record label and began spinning at NYC’s most dedicated weekly jungle party: Konkrete Jungle. Eventually Odi caught the ears of TC IZLAM, the international spokesman for the respected Hip Hop society Zulu Nation. He was initiated in 2003, making him the first junglist to enter the organization. Odi and his record label have remained prolific ever since, DJing across the nation and producing for multiple other artists. Odi’s home base is now in North Carolina where he owns and runs a recording studio.

Dali has been a prominent figure in club land for almost two decades, branding his signature sound of funk and heavy bass lines at clubs all across America! Mike Swells is a Boston based DJ, producer, and promoter. His musical stylings are diverse, covering a wide range of genres, BPM's, and emotions, catered fresh to each zone. When it's all boiled down, you're immersed in groove-laiden underground house and techno.
Mike has DJ'd at clubs across the U.S. and Canada, from his home at RISE Boston, to Avalon L.A., B.E.D. Miami, Pacha NYC, and Sullivan Room NYC. He's been invited to perform at festivals like Camp Bisco, Identity Fest, and Winter Music Conference. He has shared the decks with tastemakers like Josh Wink, Dubfire, Sebastien Leger, Marco Bailey, Robert Babicz, Umek, Armand Van Helden, Infected Mushroom, Markus Schultz, Eric Prydz, Junior Sanchez, and countless others.
Mike's residency at RISE After-hours began in 2004. He's since expanded his role at this unique venue, focusing his efforts full time on nurturing his home town's electronic music scene. Mike is a driving force behind other dance music outlets beyond RISE. He's been a monthly resident at The Red Door in Portsmouth, NH, since 2008. He is a founding member & resident DJ at Rabbit Revolution, a promotions group focused on exposing America's new generation of EDM fans to quality underground music [and] He is also a founding member and resident DJ for SoundScape.

Before that, though, both Jack and Ede have held it down for almost 15 years each. Jack with gigs and residencies at Therapy, Crobar, Shelter, And Sullivan room. Armand with some of the longest house music residencies in RI with Anthem, Starzzz, Emerald Room, Plush, every major club between Boston and Providence and putting together some of New England's best parties with the area's best dj's and guest appearances everywhere. They have done it all and have played in front of more people than most.
Jack and Ede paired up with an unspoken common belief that the "scene" was LAME. People were forgetting about the PARTY. They could care less about pretentious scenesters and trainspotting dj's. They want to party with MURDER KIDS just like THEM. Kids that LOVE HOUSE MUSIC, TECHNO and BASS who LOVE to PARTY and like to smash the dancefloor with attitude while they are doing it.
